I am a Registered Midwife at East Mississauga Midwives. Prior to graduating from the Midwifery Education Program at Ryerson University in 2013, I studied International Development at Guelph and Trent University. I have travelled and volunteered throughout Europe, Thailand, Jamaica, and Central and South America. It is a privilege to be able to support women during this time, and I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know you and your family.

I was born on the west coast and raised on the east coast, and have somehow put down roots in between. Following the birth of my son, I developed a passion for postpartum care which eventually led me to study Midwifery at Toronto Metropolitan University. I was fortunate to spend my final year of study with the team at East Mississauga Midwives, and I am thrilled to be returning!
Prior to becoming a Midwife, I worked as a counsellor for many years. I believe an intrinsic part of Midwifery care is the trust fostered between clients and their care team, and I look forward to supporting your family through the unique transitions of parenthood.
I spend most of my time off with my kid: indulging each other in various passion projects, enjoying this part of the world, trying to see the rest of it, and getting back to the ocean just as often as possible.

My first encounter with midwifery was at age 17, when I witnessed the birth of my niece. She was born at home into the hands of midwives. I was so blown away by what a gentle and empowering experience it was, I knew I had found my calling! I graduated from the McMaster Midwifery Education Program in 2009. Since graduating, I have worked as a midwife in Hamilton and Mississauga. I love my job and I look forward to meeting and working with you and your family! Welcome to our clinic!

I was introduced to midwifery as a young child when my siblings were born with midwifery care, before it was it was formally integrated into our health care system.
I completed my BHSc in midwifery after working in health policy and communications, first with The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, then with the Ontario provincial government. I have an MA in Adult Education and Community Development from the University of Toronto, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Queen’s University.
I love that our midwifery model enables us to get to know our clients and support their individual and family needs – especially in the postpartum when life is full of challenges and change. I look forward to caring for you.

Hi! My name is Bianca Lambert (she/her) and I am honoured to be joining East Mississauga Midwives. Before completing the Midwifery Education Program at Toronto Metropolitan University, I graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. I had the privilege of working within this community for my final year of study and I am excited to continue working here within my career. My passion for midwifery is rooted in the belief that this profession incorporates my love for healthcare and promoting equity and inclusivity.
When I am not up at a birth I am usually staying up too late reading on my kindle, trying new restaurants with my family and friends and finding new ways to serve my community through my local church.
I look forward to meeting you all and being a part of your care.

I've been a member of the East Mississauga Midwives team since graduating from Ryerson University's Midwifery Education Program. I have a master’s in public health and worked on cancer research and primary care and maternity care projects in Canada, the US and East Africa, and for many years I helped develop clinical practice guidelines and other resources for midwives and midwifery clients. In my spare time I enjoy running, reading, cooking, and spending time with my partner and our very spoiled dog. I look forward to meeting you and your baby!

I have happily called the Greater Toronto Area home for the past 17 years. Prior to pursuing midwifery, I worked as a Registered Massage Therapist. My background in massage married well with my interest in pregnancy and birth and I began attending the births of my massage therapy clients. In 2008 I graduated from the Midwifery Education Program at McMaster University. I am passionate about midwifery and I truly love my work. I look forward to providing care for you and your family during this important time in your lives.
